Salary Scale LC2: (16 to 23 £29,572 to £33,366) with an annual salary review

West Swindon Parish Council is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and proactive individual to shape and enhance how we engage with residents.
About Us
As a community-focused Parish Council, we are funded by local residents to:
✔ Maintain outdoor parks and open spaces
✔ Manage bins and tackle fly-tipping
✔ Improve and maintain 21 play areas
✔ Support community groups and activities
We’re committed to creating a cleaner, greener, and more connected West Swindon.
About You
You’ll be a people person with experience in community engagement, outreach, or participation. You’ll have the ability to:
✅ Spark meaningful conversations with residents, businesses, and local groups
✅ Build trust, respect, and long-lasting relationships across the community
✅ Plan and deliver creative engagement activities—online, print, and face-to-face
✅ Work collaboratively with Parish Councillors to support local initiatives
A background in health, community, or youth work would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
