The play area is located on open space and accessed directly from Shelfinch or by a short walk from Longthorpe Close, Colchester Close and Markenfield.

There is a double-ended multi-use games area (MUGA).

There is also a shelter with seating.

The play area is fully enclosed and has a rubber surface.
