Keep Swindon Tidy is aiming high in 2025 — their goal is to clear 200,000 bags of litter, but they need your help to make it happen!
Swindon has in the region of 233,000 residents so if each person picked one bag of litter they would soon smash their goal.
It’s easy to get involved:
- When you’re walking the dog, take an extra moment to pick up any litter along the way.
- On your walk to the shops, bring along a bag and collect any rubbish you spot.
- Out with the kids? Turn it into a fun, family activity to help keep our streets clean.
- Going for a run? Take time during your warm-up or cool down to pick up some litter.
Every small effort adds up, so you can make a huge difference to the environment.
Volunteering activities are a great way to get out in the fresh air, meet new people and make friends. Litter picking can make an immediate visible difference to your community.
